Homemade Dry Fruit Mix | Healthy Morning Snack | Natural Collagen & Immunity Booster

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp black raisins halved
  • 5 dates seed removed, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp almonds
  • 1 tbsp cashews
  • 1 tbsp pistachios
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 2 tbsp flax seeds
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • A few strands of saffron optional

Method
 

  1. Chop raisins into halves.
  2. Remove seeds from dates and chop into small pieces.
  3. Heat a clean dry pan on low flame.
  4. Add chopped raisins and dates.
  5. Roast gently until warm, slightly chewy, and aromatic.
  6. Transfer to a bowl and let cool completely.
  7. In the same pan, add almonds, cashews & pistachios.
  8. Roast on low flame until lightly golden and fragrant.
  9. Add to the bowl and cool.
  10. Add pumpkin, sunflower, and flax seeds to the pan.
  11. Roast on low flame until they start to pop.
  12. Turn off the flame and, while still warm, mix in turmeric powder.
  13. Add to the bowl and cool fully.
  14. Once everything is cool, combine all ingredients together.
  15. Add saffron strands and mix well.
  16. Transfer into a clean, dry, airtight glass jar.
  17. Keep in a cool, dry place or refrigerator.
  18. Stays fresh for 2–3 weeks.
  19. Take 1 spoon every morning on an empty stomach
  20. Sprinkle on yogurt, oats, porridge, or in smoothies
  21. Mix into warm milk for a soothing drink

Notes

Optional Variations
Add walnuts for extra omega-3
Blend/pulse lightly for a softer texture
Adjust dates for more or less sweetness
