Method
- Chop raisins into halves.
- Remove seeds from dates and chop into small pieces.
- Heat a clean dry pan on low flame.
- Add chopped raisins and dates.
- Roast gently until warm, slightly chewy, and aromatic.
- Transfer to a bowl and let cool completely.
- In the same pan, add almonds, cashews & pistachios.
- Roast on low flame until lightly golden and fragrant.
- Add to the bowl and cool.
- Add pumpkin, sunflower, and flax seeds to the pan.
- Roast on low flame until they start to pop.
- Turn off the flame and, while still warm, mix in turmeric powder.
- Add to the bowl and cool fully.
- Once everything is cool, combine all ingredients together.
- Add saffron strands and mix well.
- Transfer into a clean, dry, airtight glass jar.
- Keep in a cool, dry place or refrigerator.
- Stays fresh for 2–3 weeks.
- Take 1 spoon every morning on an empty stomach
- Sprinkle on yogurt, oats, porridge, or in smoothies
- Mix into warm milk for a soothing drink
